We all have memories of at least that one teacher that we were terrified of and despised, or admired and looked up to. It is clearly evident that our interactions with those certain teachers have had a deep and long lasting impact on our self esteem and identity.
An admonishing, mocking, insensitive teacher can forever stop our pursuit of certain avenues, damaging our sense of self; often aggravating our emotional distress.

What and how ones personality shapes into is a product of his Nature (genetics) and his Nurture (environment). The environment that the parents, family, school, and society are a part of. Wouldn’t it be great if we could somehow fix the damage this environment may cause?
It’d be utopian to imagine that we could reach out to every member of the society. The only thing close to that is educating every single teacher out there. Our teachers have an expansive reach into the society with access to almost every child and her parents.
Empowering our Teachers with knowledge on Mental Health can not only prevent them from causing psychological harm to the young impressionable minds, but also equip them to raise emotionally resilient children. They can influence parents and bring about changes in them, in real time. They can propel the right attitudes and help break the taboo about psychological health. They can overturn the society that one can only imagine!
Our Mental Health Literacy programs are conducted by Clinical Psychologists and practicing Psychotherapists who are passionate teachers themselves.
